Terms and Conditions

  • Quotations are valid for 30 days.
  • MMT Logistics Services requires a minimum of 12 hours notice for any online bookings.
  • Alcohol consumption and smoking is prohibited in the vehicles.
  • MMT Logistics Services and its drivers have the right to refuse to carry any passenger whose behaviour poses a threat either to the driver, the vehicle or any other passenger(s).
  • Children below 13 will not be allowed to travel unaccompanied unless a guardian or parent has given consent to do so and only on a door-to-door transfer.
  • No pets will be allowed in vehicles except guide dogs, in which case prior notification should be sent to MMT Logistics Services.
  • Firearms, harmful chemicals and explosives will not be allowed on any vehicles.
  • Passengers with special needs should communicate their requirements at the time of booking.
  • Payment can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or internet transfer.
  • Any transfer cancelled within 3 hours of departure will be charged for in full.
  • For long distance trips (over 75km), a 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of booking, and the balance no later than 48 hours before departure. The deposit will be forfeited if the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of departure, or in the case of a no-show.
  • For long distance trips or stay overs, the quoted rates do not include the driver’s accommodation or meals. These are for the client’s account.
  • No refund will be given for failure to cancel a reservation.
  • Any special arrangements or additional requests will be quoted separately.
  • MMT may provide subcontracted vehicles occasionally.
  • Changes to your itinerary should be communicated with our support office prior to collection.
  • Prices exclude parking costs, should there be any, or waiting time. Waiting time is charged at R200 per hour or part thereof, charged after the first 15 min.  Delayed flights are not charged for.
  • Rates exclude additional charges such as baby seat and/or trailer hire.
  • Whilst we do our very best to ensure our drivers are punctual, we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
  • Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to restore it to its original condition.
  • All drivers are required to drive at safe speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and legal speed limits.
  • Chauffeur services:
    • Rates are charged per hour. Timing begins when the client is picked up, and ends when dropped off.
    • A maximum mileage of 60km within an hour is permitted. Any mileage above that will be charged at R7 per km.
    • If client goes over a stipulated time period by 15 min, an extra full hour will be billed for
  • It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient time is allocated in order to reach their destination.
  • Rates are quoted in (ZAR) South African Rand.
  • All prices include VAT, fuel, toll fees, driver’s costs. Stay over trips however do not include accommodation and meals of the driver at the destination.
  • MMT Logistics Services respects the privacy of our clients and will ensure personal information of clients is protected at all times, and not divulged to anyone.
  • Office hours are between 08:00 and 17:00 (Mon – Fri) for bookings, support and queries.
  • For transfers before 06h00 and after 20h30, an additional surcharge of R100 per transfer will be levied.
